The Missouri Humanities Council (in collaboration with the U. S. Grant Trail) will be conducting its 6th Annual U. S. Grant Symposium, this year in St. Louis.  The event is hosted by the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum in Downtown St. Louis and will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019.  This year’s date-conscious theme refers to the blaring headline of the New York Times on August 9, 1885, the day after the nation laid Ulysses Grant to rest.  For more information or to register to attend the Symposium, consult the Missouri Humanities website: https://www.mohumanities.org/2019-grant-symposium/
