The city of Boonville has joined Missouri’s Civil War Heritage Foundation’s Gray Ghost Trail.Boonville has paid for an interpretive panel to be placed near the Vollrath Farm.Vollrath Farm was sight of a brief skirmish in 1864 that resulted in 15 Confederate losses. The panel is one of several that will be part of Boonville’s segment of the Gray Ghost Trail.Dedication of the sign is scheduled to take place June 2010 to coincide with 149th anniversary of the Battle of Boonville.Watch our website for more news as it comes available.
