The Missouri History Museum in St. Louis, MO will be hosting a series of  free events in its archaeology series.  Tuesday, June 3, 2008  at 7PM will present Steve Dasovich, Ph.D., head of the Cultural Resource Services Division for SCI Engineering, Inc. leading a discussion about the Civil War in the Arcadia Valley (Iron County, MO). Steve Dasovich will be speaking in the AT&T Foundation Multipurpose Room.  Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 2PM in the Lee Auditorium.  Douglas Scott, Ph.D. will be discussing his recent findings from his excavation of the first battle of  Boonville, Wilson’s Creek and Centralia.  The findings will offer new insights into the battles.
